Emergency Management Conference 2013

Posted 15 July 2013 by Sean Fishlock (Crisisworks)

Crisisworks user Bruce Ray, an active member of the Crisisworks User Group who worked with MECC Central at the City of Wodonga was available to speak with other Crisisworks users last week at our Emergency Management Conference (EMC) stand. Bruce has very strong emergency management credentials, as a former officer of the NSW Police Force and Australian Customs & Border Protection Service as well as Hume Regional Emergency Management Officer and Operations Officer at the CFA. Along with director Peter Kakris, the two provided familiar faces to the many Victorian MECC Central users at the appropriately themed "Preparing Victoria" conference at the Hotel Pullman in Melbourne.

At the conference, Bruce and Peter met with many of the Crisisworks and MECC Central users from Victoria, sharing news of the latest updates and demonstrating new functionality including the upcoming update to the Crisisworks iPhone, iPad and Android apps.
