Crisisworks MECC Central on the speaking trail

With the rollout to Victorian councils now in its mature stages, various industry people have spoken on local government's implementation of MECC Central.

Doug Caulfield, OAM, RFD, MAIES, Emergency Management Coordinator for the Gippsland Region spoke about MECC Central during a talk titled "The Community, Local & State Government: A Partnership for Dealing with the Unexpected Impacts of Climate Change & Natural Disasters" at the 6th Annual Enterprise Risk Management for Government 2012 at Parkroyal Hotel in Darling Harbour, Sydney.

Yesterday I presented on MECC Central to the East Region EMC in Box Hill, Melbourne.

City of Ballarat's Vicki Collins will be talking about MECC Central at the Emergency Management Conference 2012 at Sebel Albert Park in Melbourne on 10 July in the presentation "Web-based control centre for local councils".

MECC Central will also be case studied in the upcoming Municipal Emergency Management Enhancement Group at Sebel Heritage Yarra Valley, 31st August as well as at the inaugural Environmental Health Professionals Australia National Symposium, Melbourne 2012.
